Advantage + Insulation Inc. is a California licensed Insulation Contractor since January 2010.
We have a combined experience of over 55 years within the greater Southern California basin working in the insulation construction field. Our specialties include all types of installing insulation in home’s for either retrofit or remodeling improvements, commercial office applications and industrial building improvements new or retrofit.
Workers: All our employees have been in the industry for a minimum of 5 years , with the average of 16 years. Our installers are trained insulation Installers and specialists . They provide many years of trained work experience in the construction insulation field. We pride ourselves on doing the best job possible to make your property a much more comfortable and environment to live and work in.
Materials: We use only the best and top grade materials that are Manufactured in the United States. Mountain High Cellulose, Knauf Eco Batts, John Manville Comfort therm batts, ROXUL , to name a few. All material comes with a limited life time material warrant.
Insurance: We have Workers Comp Insurance and Liability.

HISTORY
Advantage Plus Energy Insulation Inc. was created in 2010. Many of our people came out of our original parent company.
Combined, our company has a total of over 55 years of experience in insulating homes, condominiums , apartments, office spaces, commercial business and medical office, warehouse and retail businesses for their particular insulation, and or sound retardation needs.
THE ORIGINAL COMPANY IN 1976 !
Ed Watkins, a general contractor for over 53 years and was 99 and 10 months, on August 15, 2022, when he passed after a short illness. He is deeply missed by all of us.
Ed, a former Major in the Marines, a World War II veteran and Korean War Veteran. Ed was a college graduate from the University of Toledo, Ohio, class of 1949 with Cuma La honors in Engineering.
Ed started in the insulation field when his house in Yorba Linda caught on fire in sixty's. He found to his amazement his house had no insulation of any kind and could not get insurance till he installed it. He decided to put in cellulose blown in insulation in the walls and attic insulation blown in also. In his studies about what to install he did lots of investigation and work, he realized many of his neighbors in Orange County did not have any or hardly any insulation either. In a life changing decision he decided to focus on insulating homes and businesses.
Throughout his career as a contractor, he has over seen the insulation of 10's of thousands of homes, throughout Southern California, from the mid 60's through 2010, when he finally retired at 87!
His daughter, Lynn has been in the industry for over 35 years and has been an insulation contractor for over 15 years. She currently runs the company, continuing to specializing in Insulation.
